Shelby (she/her) joined the Linworth UMC staff in 2017 and became an official member of the church in 2020. At heart, she is a creative problem solver with a penchant for all things technological and theological. Shelby loves serving this congregation, and strives to embody a holistic person-centered approach to both technology and ministry.

Shelby holds a B.A. in Religion from Capital University an A.A. in Communications from Columbus State Community College, and a 2-year certificate in Information Technology from Ohio Hi-Point Career Center. She is employed full time as a Technical Account Manager at Automattic alongside her work at LUMC. She and her fiancee, Patrick, are busy keeping up with a 9-year-old son, a dachshund mix named Buddy, and a cat named Egon (yes, like ghostbusters).

When she’s not momming, working, or churching, she can be found exploring her constellation of fascinations- getting into all manner of DIY projects, organizing all the things, listening to audiobooks and podcasts, and making beautiful messes with her family.
