Bianca

Bianca DeMaria brings a wealth of knowledge and talent to Linworth UMC. She holds a Masters in Piano Performance (Collaborative Piano) from Florida State University and completed her undergraduate studies in Piano at The College of Charleston. Raised on the east coast (PA, NJ, SC, MA) she came to Ohio from Boston in 2011. As a liturgical organist for the last 20 years, Bianca most recently served Dublin Community Church (UCC) as Organist/Accompanist. Upon her mother’s passing in Columbus in 2024, Bianca took time off for travel and spiritual pursuits. Her love for spiritual formation and development began in 2005 with a 2-yr immersive program and re-emerged during the pandemic as she trained in the art of Spiritual Direction through the Spirituality Network’s Wellstreams Program. For the past 2 1/2 years, she has completed two long-term programs: The Soul of Leadership and Transforming Community: Leading Contemplative Groups and Spiritual Retreats with The Shalem Institute (Washington DC).
Bianca’s talents and experience extend beyond music as a family-history researcher, a Reiki Master, and a holistic practitioner through her private practice “Find Your Roots Now” (findyourrootsnow.com). She nourishes her heart, mind and soul through walks in nature, family time, photography, learning Italian and her daily NYT word puzzles! She feels blessed to call central Ohio her home.
