Tom Cook has been the organist at Linworth since September of 1992 and a church organist since 1967 at churches in Lima, Marysville and the Columbus area.
He has been the organist for the United Methodist Men of the West Ohio Conference since 1989. That organization honored him with a lifetime membership in 1996.
Mr. Cook received Bachelor's and Master's degrees in music education from Ohio State University in 1972 and 1977 respectively. He taught vocal and instrumental music in the public schools from 1972-1984. (He received an award for outstanding teaching in 1982 at Hamilton Local School District in Franklin County.) Since 1987, Tom has been a staff member in the School of Music at OSU.
Tom and his wife, Marilyn have been married thirty-three years and have two grown sons, Chris and Greg.
