The following are some of the many groups and activities happening at LUMC. Please join us in serving the church and surrounding communities.
Are You A Part of Children's Ministry?
The Children's Ministry Department is an integral part of Linworth and we continue to provide opportunities for all children that enable them to grow in their Christian faith. These programs are necessary for the life and growth of our children and adults. This ministry is always looking to involve new families in various ways to help serve the children of our community. Weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, yearly opportunities are available for everyone. These opportunities range from teaching, cooking, set up, clean up, planning, committee members, music, snacks, storytelling, puppetry, or sharing any special talent you may offer to the program. The children count on adults to help them discover new things about God, and we too hope we can count on all adults to serve in this time of need. Please contact Mary Torok to discuss how you can help serve Children's Ministry!!

Linworth Women’s Ministries

Everyone is invited to participate in the projects of United Methodist Women. However, becoming an active UMW member will strengthen our mission and will give you more insight and voice into our outreach.

Fellowship Day Circle meets in Fellowship Hall the second Tuesday of the month at 9:30 a.m. Members do hands-on mission projects while fellowshipping.

Evening Circle meets the third Monday of the month either at the church or in a home at 7:30 p.m. This group meets for fun, fellowship, and spiritual growth.

Service Circle meets the last Thursday of the month at 9:00 a.m. in the church kitchen. Members make sandwiches for Faith Mission.

Heritage Circle is composed of UMW women who are no longer physically able to participate. Active members become God’s hands to them.

MOPS is for Moms of Pre-School children. They meet at the church on the second and fourth Mondays of the month at 9:45 a.m. The group enjoys fellowship and discusses topics pertaining to Motherhood.

Shawl Prayer Ministry Participants in this project have knitted and delivered over 125 prayer shawls and lap blankets to persons needing special prayer and support. If you wish to participate in this ministry, call Marilyn Pohlman (798.9384). Knitters needed.
