 7th Annual Chili Cook Off Coming

The LUMC 7th Annual Chili Cook Off is set for March 14. Chili for the contest needs to be brought to church at 4:30 p.m. The Dinner will begin at 5 p.m. If you want to enter your chili in the contest be sure to sign up on the bulletin board outside the church office, or call Eric Reidinger or Sharon Valade. We are hoping to start a new tradition of square dancing following the dinner. We hope to see you and your family on March 14!

 

Easter Family Fun Day Is Set for

March 27

Be sure to join us on March 27 for our Easter Family Fun Day! This is a great family event.  Come for breakfast, and stay for crafts, games, an egg hunt and a visit from a very big bunny! Tickets are on sale now!  $10 per family (up to 5 persons), or $5 per person. Want to help with this event? Call the church office (336-8485) to volunteer.
 

Everyone Is Invited

to the Palm Sunday Breakfast

The breakfast will be held on March 28 at 7 a.m. Our speaker will be Brett Page. Brett's presentation is titled, "For We Walk by Faith Not by Sight." Tickets are on sale now! The cost is $3/ticket. Join us for this special event.
 

Holy Week Events

March 29 - April 2 join us for Holy Week Prayer Stations. Seven stations based on The Lord's Prayer will be set up in the fellowship hall. You are encouraged to come visit the prayer stations for a personal reflection time during this season of Lent. Join us each night from 6 - 9 p.m.

April 1 is our Maundy Thursday Service at 7 p.m. This service will include a drama and holy communion will be offered.

April 2 at 7 p.m. is our Good Friday Service. The Chancel Choir will perform "The Seven Last Words of Christ" and a Tenebrae Service will be observed.


Join Us On Easter Sunday

Join us for our Easter Service on April 4 at 8:45 a.m. or 10:15 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. Pastor Gene Folden will present the message. The Chancel Choir will be at the 8:45 and 11:30 a.m. services; the Hand Bells will be at the 8:45 a.m. service; and the New Connections Band will be at the 10:15 a.m. serivce. What a great Sunday to come to church!
