Learning Opportunities

As part of our mission to help each other grow in our faith, a variety of Sunday school programs and Bible study classes are offered.

Our children’s ministry, Kids for Christ, is dedicated to creating disciples for Jesus Christ, one child at a time, and offers age-appropriate lessons for toddlers through elementary students. Middle school students and high school students can participate in the dynamic Xtreme Impact program on Sunday evenings and midweek Bible Study. There are a range of classes for young adults and adults as well.

Each year also brings new classes and old favorites to Linworth. Two Disciple Bible Study classes lasting eight weeks, focus on the Old or New Testament. The Beginnings class explores the basic questions of faith. Short-term studies like Network, where participants discover their passion for ministry as well their spiritual gifts, are also offered throughout the year. During the seasons of Lent (the 40 days before Easter) and Advent (the four weeks leading up to Christmas) opportunities for intimate small group studies, and congregation-wide studies may occur.
